Loredana Vale

Born in Târgu Mureș, working from Cluj-Napoca. Trained at FSPAC in communication and public relations, and working in search and social since 2022.

The work I care about most is the interview. In 2024 I held thirteen of them — with mayors, deputy mayors and city officers from Vantaa, Chișinău, Vienna, Rotterdam, Rennes, Lahti, Zurich, Terrassa, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Ghent and Cluj-Napoca — under the online-image mandate for the Eurocities Annual Conference hosted by my city, which we won after taking first place at CommuniCon.

The same method carries to smaller rooms. For BestCluj I report on galleries with no website and spaces that announce their programme only on Instagram: people doing serious work who appear in no search at all. For Profilmedic I write compliance guides for doctors — what they may publish and what they may not, with the article of the code or the law behind every line. I am not a doctor, and that site says so before it says anything else.

Alongside the writing I run Astral Digital, an attested social enterprise. Campaigns for clients in Romania, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, across search, social and paid media, plus training for teams that would rather do it themselves.

    Part of the team that launched the platform on 24 May 2024, as a faculty service learning project. Reporting on the people and places the city does not document.
